Sunday Evening Tasting Tour takes you to 3 Minneapolis Breweries. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours, with 45-50 minutes at each brewery.
Lots of delicious local craft beer
Safe transportation on the little blue bus
A fun tour guide/driver
Yummy pretzels to snack on!
Please note that most breweries do not serve food, but there are always food trucks parked right outside if you want to grab a snack.
The tour kicks off at Fulton Brewing, in the heart of Minneapolis’ North Loop district. Fulton had the first ever taproom in Minneapolis, where they now proudly serve 12 different beers.
We stay in the area for our next stop, Boom Island Brewing Company. They are famous for their Belgian-style beers and their owners Qiuxia and Kevin Welch. The Welches first started brewing beer in China and went to do extensive research in Belgium, before opening their first brewery here in Minneapolis.
We head over to Harriet Brewing on Minnehaha Ave. Harriet focuses on Belgian ales and German lagers. We recommend you try Dark Abbey, a Belgian-Style Dubbel, and West Side, a Belgian Style IPA.
We circle back to downtown Minneapolis. The drop-off point is same as the pick-up point, Grumpy’s parking lot. If you don’t want to go home just yet, make sure to stop by Grumpy’s or Day Block Brewing for even more delicious beer!
You get about a pint’s worth at each stop. All tours include at least one stop where you get a flight. Bonus: you can bring your own beer too! Because we support craft breweries, we insist you only bring craft beer on the bus. For example: Surly, Lagunitas, Lift Bridge = Good! Coors, Bud, Miller = Bad.
Besides selling beer out of their taprooms, local breweries are allowed to sell growlers (64 oz. refillable containers) for customers who want to bring some of that delicious craft beer home. We welcome growlers on the bus and we provide a cooler and plastic cups so you can sip between breweries.
Breweries do not serve food. That’s usually not a problem, because there is always a food truck parked in front of each brewery and you can bring food inside. We will make sure to tell you at the beginning of the tour what food truck options are available that day. Food is not included in the price.
Cheers and have fun!
