You will be picked up at the Muscat airport on Day 1 and discover the city on Day 2 with a tour of the local highlights. On Day 3 transfer to Nizwa and discover its main attractions, including the Jabrin Castle and the highest peak in the Arabian Peninsula. On Day 4 trek through the Grand Canyon of Oman and enjoy a drive through the Wahiba Sands. On Day 5 visit an authentic Bedouin house, and one of the largest turtle reserves in the world. On Day 6 visit the charming town of Sur and hike through the Wadi Shab before transferring to Muscat. On Day 7 you will be dropped off at the Muscat airport.


Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Muscat Airport Pick-up

Today you will be picked up at the Muscat airport upon arrival, where you will meet your tour guide. You will be transferred to your accommodation for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore on your own or rest and prepare yourself for your upcoming adventure. Overnight in Muscat.


Day 2: Muscat City Tour (B)

Enjoy breakfast before leaving for an amazing city tour in Muscat. Start  by visiting one of the most fascinating pieces of modern Islamic architecture: the Grande Mosque. As part of the interior design, you will find the world's second largest hand-woven carpet. Continue to Muttrah, former center of commerce in Oman. Visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum to appreciate its collection of ancient weapond and make a stop at the famous Qasr Al Alam (His Majesty's Palace). Then make a visit the Muttrah Souk, a fascinating marketplace that fuses a traditional Arab market with modern amenities. Discover the diverse products you can find inside the colourful little shops, from food and spices to textiles and jewelry. Transfer back to your accommodation and spend the evening at your leisure. Overnight in Muscat.

Day 3: Tour in Nizwa, Visit to Jabrin & Jebel Shams (B/L/D)

After breakfast, travel to the spectacular city of Nizwa, the former capital of Oman, and one of its oldest cities. Nizwa was once a main center of trade, religion, education and art. Now is home to some spectacular buildings, such as its Round Tower Fort. Nizwa is also famous for its souq marketplace, where you can find everything from food and spices to gold, silverware and ‘khanjars’ (daggers). Continue by visiting Jabrin, one of the best-preserved castles in Oman. Built in 1675, it was once an important learning centre for astrology, medicine and Islamic law. Appreciate its beautifully painted ceilings and exquisite woodcarvings. Next, make a stop in town of Bahla to appreciate its Fort, the oldest in Oman and a designated UNESCO World Heritage site. Finally head to Jebel Shams, the highest mountain in the Arabian Peninsula and a popular sightseeing area. Enjoy the breathtaking view before being transferred to your accommodation in Jebel Shams for overnight.


Day 4: Grand Canyon Trek & Sama Al Wasil (B/L/D)

Enjoy your breakfast before leaving for an amazing tour in Oman's Grand Canyon. You will be able to choose between a soft hike and a more strenuous trek through the canyon. Appreciate the magnificent landscape and at the end have a rest and enjoy your lunch. Continue traveling through the Wahiba Sands, a spectacular desert region with red and white sand dunes rising up to 200 metres and hosting diverse flora and fauna. You will enjoy a fun drive through the dunes on the way to your accommodation. Enjoy a BBQ Dinner and overnight in Sama Al Wasil.


Day 5: Bedouin House Visit, Wadi Bani Khalid & Ras Al Hadd (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit an authentic Bedouin house to learn about their unique lifestyle while drinking some traditional Bedouin coffee, and learn about the special relationship between the Bedouins and the camels. Continue your journey to Wadi Bani Khalid, a desert oasis with deep blue-green waters. You can swim and have lunch before heading to the turtle trail. Cross the coast of Al Ashkharaand with its fishing villages before reaching Ras Al Hadd, known as breeding ground for giant greenback turtles. You will visit the beach of Ras Al Jinz for an unforgettable experience. Be amazed as you watch the turtles make their way slowly up the beach. Overnight in Ras Al Hadd.


Day 6: Town of Sur, Wadi Shab & Transfer to Muscat (B/L)

Enjoy breakfast before traveling to the town of Sur, known for being a main destination point for sailors. Stop to take some pictures at the famous old Dhow Building, a traditional wooden boat. Continue your journey down the coastal road before making your next stop at Wadi Shab, a gorge carved out of the mountains. Take a walk through the village surrounded by green lush plantations. You will hike for around an hour to get to an oasis where you can enjoy some time swimming in the small natural pool. Transfer back to Muscat for overnight.


Day 7: Muscat Airport Drop-Off (B)

Enjoy breakfast and check out before your accommodation pick-up. You will be transferred to the Muscat airport, where this adventure will come to an end.
